Safety Officer

Job Summary: Manage all activities related to Security, Health, and Environment & Safety across the company to ensure 100% security, health, environment & safety.Job Location : Industrial Area, Al Mahjar Phase1ResponsibilitiesInvestigate industrial accidents, injuries & occupational diseases causes & take preventive measuresReport & review findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections & environmental testingMaintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processesInspect facilities, machinery & safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards to ensure safety regulations in compliance to local and international safety regulationsConduct & coordinate workers training in safety laws & regulations, hazardous condition monitoring & use of safety equipmentReview employee safety programs to determine employees obtained information on health & safetyInterview employers and employees about work environments and workplace incidentsReview plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment to determine whether all safety requirements have been metCompile, analyze & interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidentsInterpret safety regulations for safety engineers, labor representatives and safety inspectorsRecommend process safety methods to reduce employees' exposure to all types of hazardsConduct testing of air quality, noise, temperature & radiation levels to verify compliance with health & safety regulations. Write and revise safety regulations and codesProvide technical advice and guidance to organizations on how to handle health-related problems and make needed changes. Install safety devices on machinery, or direct device installationConsult medical professionals to assess health risks & develop ways to manage health issuesLiase with fire, mutual aid societies & rescue teams so that emergency responses can be facilitatedEvaluate adequacy of actions taken to correct health inspection violationsCheck floors of plants to ensure that they are strong enough to support heavy machineryPlan and conduct industrial hygiene research, design and build safety equipmentQualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any degree from Industrial backgroundMust be Saudi NationalSkillsAbility to efficiently & effectively plan & monitor tasks in a very organized & predictive mannerProficient in Microsoft Office, MSWord, Excel and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic is MustExperience2 to 3 years of experience in similar roleAbility to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
