Safety Specialist

Job SummaryResponsible for implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.Develop and deliver safety awareness sessions and training for employees.Monitor the implementation of safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and incident documentation.Support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and incident response procedures.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of relevant experience in workplace safety.Knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessment, and incident investigation.Relevant safety certifications, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, are preferred.Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
