Sales Cashier

Role Description This full-time Sales Cashier role at Yummi Company Bakery is an on-site position based in Pekanbaru City. The Sales Cashier is responsible for greeting customers, answering basic product questions, and providing friendly, efficient service at the counter. Daily tasks include operating the cash register, processing cashless and cash payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring accurate transaction records. The role also involves preparing and arranging baked goods for display, restocking shelves, checking product freshness, and maintaining cleanliness at the cashier area and front-of-house. The Sales Cashier supports opening and closing procedures, reconciles the cash drawer, and collaborates with the bakery team to meet sales targets and deliver a positive customer experience.QualificationsStrong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach to guests.Basic math and cash-handling skills, including comfort with operating POS systems and managing change accurately.Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow bakery procedures and hygiene standards.Ability to work on-site in Pekanbaru City, stand for extended periods, and handle a fast-paced retail environment.Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not required.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.High school diploma or equivalent education is beneficial.
