SAP Solution Analyst (PP, QM)

Manufacturing is Ather's core capability. You will be instrumental in building the digital backbone that directly controls and optimizes our production environment. You will be the Key designer responsible for configuring and streamlining complex manufacturing processes, ensuring peak efficiency, resource optimization, and strict quality control on the shop floor. Your designs will create the crucial digital link synchronizing the high-speed flow of materials with actual production execution.YOU’LL BE OUR: SAP S/4 HANA PP/QM ConsultantYOU’LL BE BASED AT: IBC Knowledge Park, BengaluruYOU’LL BE ALIGNED WITH: Senior Manager, ERP product & systemYOU’LL BE A MEMBER OF: ERP product & systemWhat you’ll do at Ather● Planning & Demand: Lead configuration of demand management, planning strategies(MTS/MTO), and execute/monitor MRP Live for component availability.● Scheduling & Capacity: Design and implement Production Scheduling and Capacity Levelingsolutions, leveraging embedded PP/DS knowledge for resource optimization.● Shop Floor Control & MES: Configure core production master data and manage the fullproduction order lifecycle. Define data exchange standards and interfaces for MES integration.● Manufacturing Models: Implement discrete manufacturing models (repetitive manufacturingknowledge is a plus).● Quality Planning: Lead configuration of all core QM master data● Quality Execution: Manage inspection lot creation (GR, In-Process, Final), results recording, andusage decision processes.● Cross-Module Integration: Manage critical integration points between PP/QM and othermodules: Controlling (CO), MM, SD, and WM/EWM for material staging.● Custom Development: Author detailed functional specifications (RICEFW) for customreports/interfaces (BAPI/BADI/IDoc/OData), collaborating with ABAP developers.● Expert Support: Provide expert-level production support by troubleshooting complex issuesrelated to production orders, staging, inspection lots, and cost settlement.● Testing & Documentation: Lead SIT/UAT for end-to-end scenarios and develop comprehensiveconfiguration/training documentation.Here’s what we’re looking for● PP/QM Mastery: Deep configuration experience across all core PP and QM areas, includingMRP parameters, Production Master Data, and Inspection/Notification processing.● Advanced Manufacturing: Expertise in discrete manufacturing, Rework Order management,Batch determination, and KANBAN methodology.● Process Analysis & Design: Proven ability to map complex manufacturing and qualityprocesses to SAP S/4HANA standards. Must be comfortable leading workshops and writingdetailed functional specifications (BADI, Exit, Enhancement Spots).● S/4HANA Context: Familiarity with the S/4HANA roadmap, including MRP Live, pMRP,embedded FMEA, and the use of relevant Fiori apps for both PP and QM.● Integration Expertise: Strong understanding of PP/QM integration with MM, CO, SD, andWM/EWM, and proficiency in integration methods (IDoc, OData, Proxies).● Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the SAP technical framework. Knowledge ofABAP debugging in the PP/QM landscape for analysis and troubleshooting.What you bring to Ather● Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant withPP as the primary focus in at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA implementation.● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, or related field.● Soft Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate businessrequirements into technical solutions.● Official SAP Certification in S/4HANA Production Planning or Quality Management (Addedadvantage)● Hands-on experience with embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) orSAP IBP is advantageous, though not mandatory.● Proven experience integrating SAP PP with external MES/Shop Floor control systems.
