Our client, a media and entertainment company in New York City, is hiring a Senior Analyst, Finance Systems to design and support financial reporting for its corporate and divisional finance teams. The seat is part of a broader push to modernize finance systems and includes hands-on work with AI and Adaptive Planning.ResponsibilitiesRun reporting projects end to end: planning, fit-gap analysis, requirements, design, testing and rolloutServe as finance’s primary contact with the Workday reporting team and lead Workday/OfficeConnect reportingBuild and maintain financial reports using OfficeConnect, Adaptive Planning and AI toolsValidate data and report output for accuracyHelp divisional finance troubleshoot reporting issues, and meet with finance teams regularly to find pain points and opportunitiesSupport corporate finance on internal and external reportingSpot where AI and Adaptive Planning can automate manual steps and modernize existing workflowsRequirements2+ years in accounting, finance, financial reporting or related workDeep understanding of financial accounting and its related processesStrong communicator, comfortable presenting to leadership on modernizing and streamlining legacy processesCreative, unconventional problem-solverFamiliarity with AI tools and a desire to use them in reporting and planningAble to coordinate colleagues across time zones while handling several complex projects at oncePreferred: Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, OfficeConnect and Foundation Data Model (FDM); bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
