We are committed to delivering innovative technology solutions and connecting top-tier IT talent with leading organizations.We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer / Android Development Lead to join our dynamic team and support one of our major banking clients.Required Skills and Technical ExperienceAngular Development (5+ years): Experience with Angular and hybrid mobile application development, particularly with Ionic.Native Android Development (7+ years): Strong hands-on experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, and modern Android development frameworks.Hybrid-to-Native Migration (1+ year): Hands-on experience migrating existing hybrid Ionic applications to native Android applications.Google Play Store Deployment (2+ years): Experience preparing, signing, packaging, submitting, and deploying Android applications to the Google Play Store, including managing app releases and version updates.Release and Rollout Strategy (1+ year): Experience with Android release management, staged rollouts, version control, deployment planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and rollback strategies.Session and Cookie Management: Strong understanding of authentication, session management, cookie handling, session expiration, secure storage, and related security considerations in Android applications.Application Architecture and Navigation: Knowledge of Android architecture patterns and frameworks, such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Jetpack components. Ability to explain the application's architecture and end-to-end navigation flow, from user login through the main application features.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on enterprise-scale mobile applications in the banking or financial services industry.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, QA engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.For lead-level candidates, experience providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and supporting architectural and technical decision
