The firm has strong cross-border capabilities, representing clients in international arbitrations and advising on complex transactions and regulatory matters across regions including Japan, Australis, USA, UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.Role Description The Senior Associate – General Corporate & PE/VC (Dubai) will handle a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including advising on private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, M&A transactions, and general corporate governance. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents and commercial contracts, managing legal due diligence, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive deal execution. The role also involves providing strategic advice on regulatory and compliance issues, supporting cross-border transactions, and mentoring junior team members on legal research and drafting. The Senior Associate will collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver high-quality, timely legal solutions aligned with business objectives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.QualificationsMust be licensed to practice in Dubai (LAD registered).Should be based in Dubai only.Strong expertise in general corporate law, including corporate structuring, governance, and commercial contracts.Demonstrated experience in private equity and venture capital transactions, including investment documentation, shareholder agreements, and exit structures.Proven ability to manage M&A and cross-border deals, including legal due diligence, negotiations, and closing processes.Solid knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to corporate, investment, and cross-border matters in the UAE and international contexts.Excellent legal drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills with attention to detail and risk assessment.Strong client relationship management abilities, including clear communication, commercial awareness, and solution-focused advisory skills.Capability to mentor and guide junior team members, delegate work effectively, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the firm.Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized institution; admission to practice law and prior experience at reputed law firms or in-house teams.High level of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are an advantage.
