Senior Associate – Issue Management (GRC)

About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Associate – Issue Management to coordinate the end-to-end issue remediation lifecycle within a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) environment. This role ensures issues are properly documented, tracked, remediated, and closed in accordance with governance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate issue identification, documentation, prioritization, remediation, validation, and closure.Support issue owners in defining remediation plans, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.Track corrective actions, outstanding commitments, and remediation progress.Follow up with stakeholders, identify delays and risks, and escalate blockers when necessary.Coordinate with business, technology, risk, compliance, audit, and service teams.Maintain accurate issue records, remediation evidence, and closure documentation.Prepare status reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management and governance teams.Identify process improvements and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-up.Experience coordinating remediation activities, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and escalation skills.Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience in Issue Management, GRC, IT Risk and Controls, Internal Audit, Audit Remediation, or Service Management.Familiarity with remediation plans, audit findings, issue-tracking systems, and governance reporting.Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.Selection Process: Please note that the first interview in this process will be conducted through an AI Agent.
