Job Title: Senior Developer (Fintech & Integrations)Location: Dubai, UAEPurpose of the roleThe Senior Developer designs, builds and maintains the integrations and applications that connect organization’s core banking system (ICBS) with fintech partners, digital channels and regulators.

The role covers front-end and back-end work, APIs and Oracle middleware on OCI, across on-premise and cloud environments.The holder also owns technical troubleshooting: tracing code, finding root causes and fixing production issues. All work must meet CBUAE and AECB requirements and financial-sector security standards.Key responsibilitiesApplication development (front end and back end)

• Design, develop and maintain web applications and services in Java, C# / .NET, PHP and Python.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces and the back-end services and databases behind them.
• Write clean, documented, testable code following organization’s secure SDLC and coding standards.API and integration development
• Design, build and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs for fintech partners, digital channels and internal systems.
• Integrate ICBS with third-party platforms, payment providers and regulatory gateways.
• Develop and maintain services on Oracle Middleware (OCI MW / Oracle Integration and SOA on OCI).
• Produce API specifications (OpenAPI / WSDL), mappings and integration documentation.Database development
• Write and optimise SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views and jobs.
• Maintain data integrity and performance across application and reporting databases.Deployment (on-premise and cloud)
• Deploy and configure applications across on-premise data centres and cloud (OCI, Azure).
• Use GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests and code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion (DEV → UAT → PROD) with change control.Support, troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Provide L2/L3 support for in-house and integrated applications.
• Trace code and logs end to end to find root causes of defects and incidents.
• Fix issues, test fixes and deploy them within agreed SLAs.
• Write root-cause analyses and maintain support runbooks.Security and compliance
• Apply financial-sector security standards: OWASP Top 10, secure API design (OAuth2, mTLS, encryption), secrets management and least-privilege access.
• Build in core security controls: multi-factor authentication (MFA), strong password and session management, role-based access, input validation, audit logging and masking of sensitive data. Remediate findings from VAPT, code reviews and audits.
• Build solutions that meet CBUAE regulations, including data protection, outsourcing and technology risk requirements.Regulatory reporting
• Develop and support AECB data submissions and credit bureau integrations.
• Build and maintain CBUAE regulatory and MIS reports.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and audit trails for regulatory data.Collaboration
• Work with the Senior Fintech Specialist on fintech onboarding, solution design and technical due diligence.
• Guide junior developers and review vendor code and deliverables.
