Senior Geophysics Scientist / Digital Twin Technology Director

Role Description The Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational development of the AI Grand Est ENACT Cluster’s initiatives. The Director will coordinate with academic, institutional, and industry partners, manage key programs across education, research, and innovation, and ensure alignment with national and regional AI strategies. Daily responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, supervising project portfolios, managing budgets and resources, and monitoring performance indicators and outcomes. The Director will represent the cluster in external forums, foster partnerships and funding opportunities, and promote knowledge transfer and technology adoption in the cluster’s core domains. The role also involves establishing governance processes, ensuring ethical and responsible AI practices, and nurturing a collaborative and inclusive culture.QualificationsLeadership and management skills, including experience in directing complex programs, leading diverse teams, and driving organizational strategy.Strong background in artificial intelligence or related fields, ideally with familiarity in natural language processing, multimodal models, AI for engineering, or digital health.Stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with academic, institutional, government, and industry partners.Strategic planning and project management capabilities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and monitoring impact and performance metrics.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the cluster in national and international forums and to communicate complex concepts to varied audiences.Experience in research, innovation ecosystems, or higher education administration, preferably within technology or healthcare-related domains.Demonstrated commitment to ethical, inclusive, and responsible AI, including promoting diversity and non-discriminatory practices.Relevant advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or PhD) in AI, computer science, engineering, data science, public policy, management, or a related discipline.
