Senior IT & AV Engineer

The Senior IT & AV Engineer is a key member of the College’s IT team, helping to ensure that reliable, secure and high-quality IT and AV services support the College’s academic, administrative and operational goals. The role provides expert technical support and acts as a senior escalation point for staff, students, Fellows and College guests, while contributing to the effective operation, maintenance and development of the College’s infrastructure and services. Working closely with colleagues across the College, University Information Services (UIS), suppliers and contractors, the postholder will apply professional judgement and best-practice approaches to resolve complex issues, improve service quality and support the continued development of the College’s IT provision.Responsibilities include:IT support and service deliveryIT infrastructure and systemsAudio visual and meeting-room technologyService improvement and professional developmentThis is a permanent appointment (subject to a 3-month probation period) with a competitive salary range of £36, 000 - £40, 000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
