Senior Management Accountant | High-Growth Fashion & Consumer Brand | Up to £70,000I'm working exclusively with an incredibly exciting, high-growth fashion and consumer brand on a Senior Management Accountant opportunity.This is a business that's gone from strength to strength and is now approaching £100m in revenue, with serious ambitions for its next stage of growth. It's a genuinely cool, design-led consumer brand with a strong identity, an entrepreneurial culture and plenty more to come.They're looking for a commercially minded Senior Management Accountant to join the Finance team and play a key role as the business continues to scale.The OpportunityThis is much more than a traditional management accounting position. You'll take ownership of key financial processes, work closely with stakeholders across the business and have the opportunity to influence how finance operates as the company continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.Lead month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.Produce insightful financial analysis, identifying trends, variances and areas requiring further investigation.Work closely with budget holders and department heads, providing meaningful financial insight and challenging performance where appropriate.Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.Monitor stock, inventory and cost of sales, ensuring financial information accurately reflects the trading position.Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls and wider finance processes.Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.Play an active role in developing and strengthening the finance function as the business scales.What We're Looking ForACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedStrong experience across management accounts and month-end reporting.Commercially minded, with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate it to non-finance stakeholders.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business where things don't always stand still.Someone proactive who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and getting involved beyond their immediate responsibilities.Fashion, retail or consumer experience would be a real bonus.What's on Offer?Salary up to £70,000.Join a hugely successful fashion-led consumer brand approaching £100m turnover.A fast-paced, high-growth environment where things are constantly evolving.Exposure to senior stakeholders and the wider commercial side of the business.Genuine opportunity to influence processes and help shape the next phase of growth.If you're looking for something a little different from the traditional corporate finance environment in a genuinely fast growth scale up environment this ones for you.For further information contact olivergaydon@betterplaced.com
