Senior Manager Microsoft Azure

Job Purpose:We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Microsoft Azure to lead the growth, presales, and delivery governance of Microsoft Azure services and solutions. The role is responsible for driving business development, achieving revenue and sales targets, managing strategic relationships with Microsoft, and overseeing successful cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities to drive Azure adoption and business growth.Key Accountabilities:Own and achieve Azure new sales bookings, revenue, and gross profit targets.Drive demand generation, account planning, and opportunity development in collaboration with sales and account management teams.Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring forecast accuracy and opportunity conversion.Lead presales activities, including solution design oversight, proposal development, effort estimation, pricing, and customer presentations.Develop Azure service offerings covering cloud adoption, migration, modernization, business continuity, resilience, data platforms, and AI solutions.Manage strategic relationships with Microsoft, including co-selling programs, funding opportunities, joint account planning, and technical enablement initiatives.Oversee project delivery governance through delivery managers and technical leads to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and commercial commitments to ensure revenue realization and delivery excellence.Support executive-level customer engagements and strategic business discussions.Develop and mentor presales and cloud engineering teams, ensuring resource alignment with business objectives.Drive innovation and continuous improvement across Azure practices and service offerings.Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance frameworks, and project delivery best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Microsoft Azure certifications.Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.Minimum Experience:+8 years of experience in cloud computing, infrastructure services, digital transformation, or technology consulting.Experience in cloud business leadership, presales leadership, or cloud practice management.Proven track record of achieving enterprise cloud sales, revenue, and profitability targets.Experience leading Azure cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.Strong experience managing strategic partnerships and enterprise customer relationships.Job-Specific Skills:Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, architectures, and cloud adoption frameworks.Strong understanding of Azure Landing Zones, governance models, and enterprise-scale deployments.Experience in cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.Knowledge of Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program and Microsoft cloud ecosystem.Ability to position Azure solutions aligned with customer business and technology objectives.Solution architecture review and proposal management.Commercial modeling, pricing, and profitability management.Pipeline development and opportunity qualification.Strategic account planning and business growth.Contract negotiation and deal closure.Revenue forecasting and business planning.Azure Landing Zones and Enterprise-Scale Architecture.Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, and Security.Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Azure DevOps and CI/CD Practices.Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).Azure Security, Governance, and Compliance.Azure AI, Data, Analytics, and Modern Application Services.Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Cloud Strategies.Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.TOGAF, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
