Senior Network Engineer - Karachi

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).Monitor network performance, usage, and availability; respond to incidents and resolve connectivity issues.Manage Routers, Switches, NMS and other networking equipment.Ensure network security through predefined policiesCoordinate with other ISPs, vendors, and external partners for service optimization and troubleshooting.Lead network projects such as upgrades, migrations, and integrations.Maintain documentation for network topology, configurations, and procedures.Provide second- and third-level support for network-related issues.Mentor and supervise junior network engineers and support staff.Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, data protection laws, and cybersecurity regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2-3 years of relevant experience in network administration or engineering.Hands-on experience with Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Juniper, or similar network devices.Experience with SD-WAN, IPsec, DMVPN, QinQ, MPLS, STP, MST, RSTP and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS and network security best practices.Certifications of CCNA, CCNP will be plus.
