Senior Product Development Engineer

Role Summary Product DevelopmentResponsible for the design and development of new parts, subsystems, and products, including R&D, design improvements, problem-solving, and testing activities. The role involves coordination for concept development, feasibility studies, design validation, and prototype manufacturing to ensure successful product realization.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule product design and development activities across multiple projects and variantsDesign and develop components, subsystems, and compressor packages as per project plans and EPDPCoordinate design validation activities with cross-functional teamsProvide technical inputs to support procurement and development processesExecute redesign and engineering changes, including special projects as per business requirementsPreferred Candidate ProfileQualificationB.E / B.Tech in Mechanical EngineeringExperience5 – 10 yearsTechnical SkillsExperience in New Product Development (NPD) and product lifecycle managementExposure to design calculations & AnalysisExposure to EPDP or similar stage-gate processesHands-on experience in:Compressor design (preferred) OR rotating equipment (pumps, blowers, turbines) OR Heavy Equipment'sSubsystem and component designEngineering KnowledgeStrong fundamentals in:ThermodynamicsFluid mechanicsStrength of materialsIndustry PreferenceCompressor / Rotating Equipment / Heavy Engineering / HVACBehavioral SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityOwnership and accountabilityEffective communication and cross-functional coordinationAdaptability to dynamic, business-driven engineering requirements
