Senior Projects Lawyer

Projects Lawyers - Secondment OpportuntiesAs our demand continues to grows, we are looking to add several project finance and development lawyers to our team over the coming months, across multiple levels of seniority and across the GCC. We are particularly interested in lawyers with strong experience across the full lifecycle of project development and financing, ideally within energy and infrastructure sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading or supporting front-end project work streams, from bid stage through to contractual and/or financial close.Advising across the full lifecycle of project finance transactions, including development, structuring, financial close, and post-close supportDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of finance and project documentation, includingFacility agreements, security packages, direct agreements, and intercreditor arrangementsDrafting, reviewing and negotiating key project agreements, including power/offtake, shareholders’ and joint venture agreements, land/lease/usufruct arrangements, connection and interface agreements, and EPC, O&M, and key supply contracts.Acting as CP lead, managing conditions precedent processes, coordinating stakeholders, and driving transactions through to closeSupporting sponsors, lenders, and investors on structuring, risk allocation, and bankability.Working closely with BD, project finance, technical, and commercial teams, as well as external counsel, to maintain timelines and manage risk.Providing practical, commercially focused in-house legal support on project execution matters.About YouQualified in a common law or other recognised international jurisdictionTypically 8+ years’ PQE (flexible depending on experience and role)Experience gained in private practice and/or in-house environmentsStrong exposure to project finance and/or project development work in energy or infrastructureCommercial, pragmatic, and comfortable working autonomously and as part of a teamA consultant mindset, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholdersWhy RAYNE?Access to high-quality in-house secondments with trusted clientsExposure to a variety of sectors, teams, and working environmentsA consultancy built on relationships, transparency, and trustOngoing support before, during, and after each secondmentFlexible working options tailored to youIf you are a projects lawyer interested in a more flexible, relationship-driven way of working without compromising on quality, we’d love to hear from you.Company DescriptionRAYNE is changing the way leading multinationals, start-ups, and government entities across the Middle East access high-calibre legal talent through flexible resourcing solutions.
