Employment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Sigma Computing & Power BI Developer to join our team in Ahmedabad.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Sigma Computing, Power BI, advanced SQL, and data modelling.The primary responsibilities include migrating existing Power BI dashboards to Sigma Computing and designing and developing new advanced dashboards directly in Sigma.We are seeking a technically strong, hands-on professional who can independently manage complex BI development tasks, ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and communicate effectively with client stakeholders.Key Responsibilities1.

Power BI to Sigma MigrationAnalyse existing Power BI reports, dashboards, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic models.Plan and execute migration of Power BI reports to Sigma Computing.Convert complex DAX calculations and business logic into equivalent Sigma formulas, data models, or SQL.Recreate interactive dashboards, filters, drill-downs, and reporting functionality in Sigma.Perform data reconciliation and validate KPI accuracy between Power BI and Sigma.Identify migration challenges and recommend suitable solutions.2. Advanced Sigma Dashboard DevelopmentDesign and develop advanced Sigma Computing workbooks, dashboards, and reports from scratch.Implement complex calculated fields, aggregations, interactive controls, parameters, and workbook actions.Build reusable Sigma data models and reporting components.Develop scalable enterprise-level dashboards and analytical solutions.Optimize dashboard and query performance.Implement appropriate security, access controls, and governance practices.3. SQL & Data ModellingWrite and optimize advanced SQL queries involving complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and aggregations.Design efficient data models, including star schemas and dimensional models.Work with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.Troubleshoot data quality, calculation, and reporting performance issues.4. Client Interaction & Technical OwnershipGather and analyse business requirements directly from clients.Translate functional requirements into technical BI solutions.Participate in technical discussions, project meetings, and dashboard demonstrations.Independently manage development, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.Provide guidance and technical support to junior developers.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Sigma Computing and advanced dashboard development.Strong experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and semantic modelling.Excellent advanced SQL and data modelling skills.Ability to analyse and migrate complex Power BI dashboards to Sigma.Experience in dashboard performance optimization and data validation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written English communication.Ability to independently handle client interactions and technical delivery.Good-to-Have SkillsPrevious experience with Power BI to Sigma migration projects.Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or other cloud data warehouses.Experience with Sigma APIs, automation, and embedding.Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines and data engineering.Experience leading BI modernization or migration initiatives.Candidate Requirements7+ years of overall experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Engineering.Strong production-level Sigma Computing development experience, preferably 2+ years.Proven hands-on Power BI development expertise.Ability to independently deliver complex dashboards and reporting solutions.Strong client-facing communication skills.Must be willing to work from our Ahmedabad office. Remote or hybrid working arrangements are not available.Preferred Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a senior, hands-on BI professional who can lead Power BI to Sigma migration activities while also designing and building new Sigma dashboards.Candidates with demonstrated experience delivering complex Sigma implementations and strong Power BI expertise will be preferred.
