Employment Type: Contract – 6 MonthsWork Arrangement: On-site | Monday to FridayJob DescriptionSalt is currently seeking an experienced Senior Specialist – IT Infrastructure, Operations & Security for a 6-month contractual opportunity with one of our clients based in Abu Dhabi.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environments, workplace technologies, and cybersecurity operations.This role requires a highly technical, hands-on professional with strong experience across Microsoft technologies, IT service operations, infrastructure security, and third-party service provider management.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.Manage identity and access management, endpoint security, application security, and data protection controls.Support Microsoft Azure infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise workplace technologies.Maintain network infrastructure, firewalls, LAN/WLAN connectivity, and security services in coordination with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).Coordinate with external Security Operations Center (SOC) providers on security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability remediation.Support Windows and macOS endpoints, enterprise applications, collaboration tools, and meeting room technologies.Manage IT operational processes, including incident, problem, change, asset, and access management.Support IT governance, risk management, compliance, audit readiness, and business continuity initiatives.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure secure and reliable IT service delivery.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, workplace technology, and cybersecurity.Proven hands-on experience administering enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Purview.Experience supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.Experience coordinating security incidents, SOC operations, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, LAN/WLAN, and endpoint management.Experience working with MSPs and third-party technology vendors.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Relevant Microsoft, Azure, cybersecurity, networking, or ITIL certifications are advantageous.Cisco Meraki experience is desirable.Additional InformationInitial 6-month contractual engagement.Fully on-site position in Abu Dhabi.Expected commencement in December 2026Candidates must be available to work on-site for the duration of the contract.How to ApplyInterested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated CV highlighting their relevant technical experience, particularly in Microsoft 365 administration, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity operations.Please note: Due to the volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates whose qualifications closely match the role requirements will be contacted.
