Position: Senior/Technical Lead Business Analyst

Job Description

A business analyst is responsible for getting, planning, managing, and executing business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycleThis includes defining the scope, requirements, and deliverables, conducting research and analysis, facilitating requirement gathering sessions/workshops and meetings, creating and validating models and documents, and ensuring quality and alignment with standards and best practices.Act as a bridge between the business and the technical teams, translating business needs into functional specifications, and providing guidance and support to the developers and testers.Act as a bridge between stakeholders (IT teams, clients, Vendors, Application supports, etc.) to identify business needs, carry out necessary processes, establish good rapport for the success of the project.Participate in multi projects simultaneously while having to judge each of them.Additionally, a senior business analyst mentors, coaches and lead business analysts, and contributes to the improvement of business analysis processes and methods.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in business, accounting, IT, Computer Science or any related fields.4+ years of experience.Good at English (both verbal and written), have Japanese is a plus.Technical skills: have solid knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, such as UML, BPMN, use cases, user stories, wireframes, data modeling, etcAlso experienced with working methodology like: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.Business skills: Good understanding of domain, industry, market trendsHave experience in identifying needs, risks and opportunitiesInterpersonal skills: communication, negotiation, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAlso have ability to adapt to rapid changes and deal with ambiguity and complexity.Have ability to participate and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Have experience working on large scale/complex projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills.Stay aligned with client needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (egemails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Clients, technical personnel, End Users)Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (SRS, business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, CR, future proposals)Collaborate closely with developers during requirements implementation, provide necessary guidance to testing team (Test lead + testers) during QA/testing courses.Ability to assess business processes & system inefficiencies, collect necessary requirements from clients to analyze and precisely create Business and System Requirements.Identify innovative ways to understand the needs of the customers and increase customer satisfaction.Understand/negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholdersMaintain logs for meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries, and updates.Hold meetings with the project team regularly to review project deliverables and ensure that the deadlines are met.Communicate ideas and viewpoints on various opportunities to the PM or/and the senior management.Good at Project Scope Management and client’s expectation management.
