Senior Transportation ModellerAl Turath Engineering Consultant LLCDubai Head Office, Dubai, UAE | Full-time | On-site ABOUT THE ROLEAl Turath Engineering Consultant LLC (TEC) is seeking an experienced Senior Transport Modeller to join our Transportation Planning team in Dubai. The successful candidate will undertake and coordinate transport modelling activities for major masterplans, Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), and RTA road infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality technical delivery in accordance with RTA standards and requirements.EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in transport planning and modelling, preferably within the UAE.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Undertake and coordinate strategic and operational transport modelling activities for major masterplans, Level 3 Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), and RTA road infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review technical reports, modelling methodologies, traffic assessment outputs, and presentations in accordance with RTA requirements.
• Coordinate with RTA and other relevant authorities on technical submissions, modelling reviews, and approvals.
• Coordinate and execute transport modelling activities, ensuring the timely delivery of technically sound and quality-assured outputs.
• Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior transport modellers and engineers, ensuring compliance with established technical standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support the successful delivery of transportation planning and infrastructure projects. QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related discipline.
• RTA-approved Transport Modeller, with proven experience in Dubai's transport modelling procedures, technical requirements, and approval processes. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Demonstrated experience in Level 3 Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), major masterplan studies, and RTA road infrastructure projects.
• Strong working knowledge of RTA strategic transport models, including travel demand forecasting, network coding, traffic assignment, scenario assessment, and interpretation of modelling outputs.
• Advanced proficiency in PTV Visum, with practical experience in PTV Vissim, SIDRA, Synchro, and HCS+.
• Sound understanding of transport planning principles, traffic engineering, master planning, and transport impact assessment methodologies.
• Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to prepare comprehensive modelling reports, technical assessments, and presentations.AdvantageousProficiency in GIS applications, particularly QGIS or ArcGIS, for transport network analysis and spatial data management.Experience in using CUBE transportation modelling software, particularly for strategic transport modelling applications in Abu Dhabi.Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, such as Python, VBA, or VBScript, for transport modelling automation, data processing, and workflow optimisation.Experience in developing scripts and automated procedures to improve transport modelling efficiency, data management, and quality control.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
