Social Media Editor - Emirati Applicants

Job PurposeWe are looking for a talented Social Media Editor with excellent Arabic writing skills, strong editorial judgment, and a passion for digital storytelling.You will turn news, announcements, and key messages into accurate, engaging content tailored to different social media platforms. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to publish confidently in a fast-paced environment.Applications are welcome from experienced professionals and outstanding graduates with relevant internships, published work, or a strong content portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite, edit, and proofread Arabic and English captions, posts, headlines, and short-form video scripts.Adapt key messages into platform-specific content for Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing through established approval processes.Verify names, facts, dates, translations, and supporting materials before publication.Coordinate with designers, videographers, and other contributors to deliver timely content.Maintain a consistent tone of voice and high editorial standards.Monitor relevant trends and identify opportunities for timely, engaging content.Review content performance and use insights to improve future posts.Handle sensitive or unpublished information with discretion.Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Arabic, English, or a related discipline.Excellent Arabic writing and editing skills, with strong English proficiency.Strong understanding of social media formats, audiences, and publishing practices.Ability to simplify complex information while preserving accuracy and meaning.Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.A portfolio demonstrating writing, editing, or social media content creation.Relevant professional experience is preferred; outstanding graduates with strong practical evidence will also be considered.Academic distinction, relevant awards, and meaningful internships are an advantage.
