Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaEmployment Type: Full-Time – On-SiteExperience Level: 2–4 YearsJob SummaryWe are looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology team and contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of the company’s internal systems and digital products.The role will be responsible for developing reliable and scalable applications, handling complex technical tasks, reviewing technical implementations, and supporting the continuous improvement of existing systems.The Senior Software Engineer will also work closely with the Technology Manager to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and support junior developers within the team.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and improve internal systems, web applications, and digital products.Build new features and enhance existing applications based on business requirements.Translate business and system requirements into clear and practical technical solutions.Design and develop frontend and backend components as required.Develop and maintain databases, APIs, integrations, and system workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues.Review code and technical implementations to maintain quality and consistency.Test new features, system updates, integrations, permissions, and workflows before release.Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.Support application deployment, environment configuration, and production releases.Maintain clear technical documentation for systems, integrations, and major changes.Use Git and GitHub for source control, code management, and collaboration.Support and guide Junior Software Engineers and review their technical work.Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and technical partners when required.Contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and technical approaches that can improve existing systems and future products.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.2–4 years of professional software development experience.Strong experience in developing web applications and business systems.Good understanding of both frontend and backend development.Good understanding of databases and data structures, including SQL and/or NoSQL databases.Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.Good understanding of authentication, authorization, user roles, and permissions.Experience using Git / GitHub and working with source control.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify practical solutions.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Good understanding of application deployment and different environments such as development, testing, and production.Strong problem-solving, organization, documentation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned systems, and support other developers when needed.Preferred Technical SkillsExperience with some of the following technologies is preferred:React / Next.jsJavaScript / TypeScriptNode.jsFirebase / FirestoreSQLREST APIs & System IntegrationsGit / GitHubGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)Cloud Deployment & HostingMicrosoft 365 / Power PlatformERP & Operational SystemsMobile application development experience is an advantage.
