Tailor my CV for this job — freeSoftware Engineer – Embedded Linux & Onboard SystemsTSCLARITY SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a Software Engineer to develop onboard software for advanced EO/IR, embedded compute, and gimbal systems used in defence and aerospace applications.RoleThe engineer will work on low-level Linux integration, camera interfaces, real-time video pipelines, AI acceleration, gimbal control, and embedded user interfaces on NVIDIA-based compute platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and integrate camera drivers and sensor interfacesPerform Linux customization, kernel configuration, and board-level software integrationModify and debug Device Tree / Device Tree OverlaysDevelop applications in C/C++ and PythonBuild Qt / QML based embedded user interfacesDevelop and optimize video capture, processing, encoding, decoding, recording, and streaming pipelinesWork with GStreamer, V4L2, NVIDIA multimedia APIs, CUDA and DeepStreamIntegrate and optimize AI models on NVIDIA Jetson / Orin hardwareDevelop software for gimbal control, tracking, stabilization, telemetry, and peripheral communicationInterface with UART, CAN, I²C, SPI, USB, Ethernet and other embedded peripheralsPerform system debugging, performance profiling, latency optimization, and field validationSupport complete onboard software integration from hardware bring-up to production releaseRequired SkillsStrong C / C++ programmingWorking knowledge of PythonStrong understanding of Linux and embedded LinuxExperience with camera drivers, V4L2, Device Tree, kernel modules or BSP integrationExperience with GStreamer / FFmpeg / video pipelinesUnderstanding of H.264 / H.265 encoding and decodingFamiliarity with Qt / QMLStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsPreferredExperience with:NVIDIA Jetson / Orin | CUDA | DeepStream | TensorRT | OpenCV | GStreamer | V4L2 | MIPI CSI-2 | RTSP | MAVLink | CAN | Gimbal Control | AI Tracking | Computer VisionQualificationB.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech – Computer Science, ECE, EEE, Embedded Systems, or any related disciplineExperience: 0–4 yearsStrong fresh graduates with relevant Linux, embedded, computer vision, or robotics projects may also apply.
