Software Engineer, Intern

You will contribute to building and improving applications, participate in technical discussions and gain practical experience in modern software development.You will have the opportunity to work across different areas of software engineering, learn new technologies and contribute to products used by businesses and customers.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in software development activities, including designing, developing and maintaining applications.Write clean, efficient and maintainable code.Collaborate with engineers to implement features and solve technical problems.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and development planning.Identify, troubleshoot and resolve software issues.Write and maintain basic unit tests to ensure software quality.Learn and work with new technologies, frameworks and development tools.Use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity while reviewing and validating generated code.Communicate progress, technical challenges and project updates effectively.Who you areA curious learner who enjoys building software and solving technical problems.Someone who takes initiative and is willing to explore new technologies.A team player who values collaboration and constructive feedback.A logical thinker with good problem-solving abilities.Someone who is enthusiastic about learning and contributing to real-world products.Minimum RequirementsPursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.Good understanding of programming fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python or similar.Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms and databases.Familiarity with software development concepts and version control systems such as Git.Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.Willingness to learn unfamiliar systems and development technologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on academic projects, personal projects or open-source contributions.Basic knowledge of frontend, backend or mobile application development.Familiarity with REST APIs and database management.Understanding of software development practices, debugging and testing.Experience using AI-powered coding assistants and development tools.Good written and verbal communication skills.Career GrowthAt Bluebex, we believe in identifying and developing engineering talent.
