Location: MalaysiaEligibility: Malaysian citizens or candidates holding a valid RPT PassJob DescriptionAbout XionexXionex builds AI-native technology for banking and insurance, helping financial institutions modernise complex operations through intelligent automation and next-generation software architecture.We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions for our AI-native banking platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end technology solutions for banking and financial services applications.Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical architectures.Develop solution blueprints covering application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud infrastructure.Design solutions that support AI-native applications, agentic workflows, and intelligent process automation.Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches to meet business and technical objectives.Collaborate with engineering, AI, cloud, product, and business teams to deliver production-ready solutions.Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, performance, scalability, availability, and regulatory compliance.Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and technology selection decisions.Identify technical risks, assess trade-offs, and recommend appropriate solutions.Support development teams throughout implementation, testing, deployment, and optimisation.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or system design.Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and system integration.Experience with cloud platforms, databases, modern programming languages, and DevOps practices.Understanding of application security, performance optimisation, scalability, and system reliability.Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical designs.Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is an advantage.Familiarity with AI/ML integration, large language models (LLMs), or agentic AI systems is an advantage.What We OfferThe opportunity to shape an AI-native platform for banking and insurance.Exposure to enterprise-scale financial technology and intelligent automation.A collaborative environment focused on innovation and modern software engineering.Opportunities to influence solution design, technology choices, and platform evolution.
