Solutions Architect

Job SummaryOur client in a well-established industry is seeking a Solution Architect to be responsible for the end-to-end architecture of their enterprise-level applications to build web applications.Mandatory Skill-setBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline;Has 10 years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, technology delivery and technical leadership;Proven track record in system architecture design patterns such as modularity designs, event-driven architectures, and microservices architectures;Strong experience in defining architecture principles, engineering standards, technology governance and best practices;Highly proficient in development platforms/frameworks/tooling such as .NET Core, Spring boot, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and OpenSearch;Good knowledge of Cloud technologies; X-as-a-Service from different Cloud service providers (CSP);Demonstrated ability to make and communicate architecture decisions covering scalability, performance, security, resilience, integration and maintainability;Strong hands-on knowledge of modern software architecture, including cloud-native solutions, microservices, APIs, distributed systems and modern application development;Strong understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD and modern software engineering practices;Experience building reusable engineering frameworks, common services, development platforms and software accelerators;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work well with cross-organizational teams;Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate architecture methods, concepts, standards and policies.Desired Skill-setTOGAF certified;ResponsibilitiesProvides technical leadership and establishing the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design and implementation across the organisations;Translate business requirements, including application resiliency requirements, into application architectural specifications;Evaluate and recommend the use of leading edge technologies and methods, considering their practicality, technical limitations and criticality;Create, evaluate and implement high-level plans and design proposals for IT solutions;Design the architecture blueprint of the organisation's architecture set-up using multiple models;Manage technical project delivery - perform code reviews and ensure performance tuning and scalability;Participate in the forming and execution of various IT strategies;Participate in architecture reviews for new systems or changes to existing systems;Engage stakeholders (i.e. project teams and business units) to ensure solution architecture is aligned with business functional and non-functional requirements;Support proof-of-value initiatives to meet business and IT needs;Provide technical leadership to project teams in areas of solution design and application development;Perform technical design reviews and ensure enterprise-wide architectural standards are adhered to.Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your updated resume to apply@sciente.com at the earliest.When you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE’s website (https://www.sciente.com/privacy-policy).Confidentiality is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.EA Licence No. 07C5639
