Solutions Architect

We're looking for a hands-on Solution Architect with 3–7 years of experience to own our cloudarchitecture and work across the full stack, while acting as deputy to the Head of SoftwareEngineering.What you'll do

• Design and build cloud environments on Alibaba Cloud (Saudi Arabia region): ECS, VPC,SLB/ALB, RDS for PostgreSQL, OSS, RAM, CloudMonitor
• Lead a cloud-to-cloud migration end to end: UAT, production, database migration, DNS cutoverand post-migration verification
• Own solution architecture: service boundaries, data model, API contracts and integration patterns
• Contribute production code to both tiers: React/Next.js front end and Node.js API on PostgreSQL
• Maintain CI/CD (GitHub Actions), infrastructure-as-code, backups, monitoring and securityhardening
• Deputise for the Head of Software Engineering: stay across every project, run stand-ups andplanning, approve releases and represent engineering to management when needed
• Mentor developers and set coding, testing and infrastructure standardsWhat we're looking for
• 3–7 years in software engineering, with 2+ years in a solution, cloud or software architect role
• Hands-on Alibaba Cloud experience in production; ACP/ACE certification preferred
• At least one completed cloud migration, including database and DNS cutover
• Full-stack delivery: React/Next.js + TypeScript on the front end; Node.js REST APIs, JWT auth andPostgreSQL on the back end
• Strong Linux administration (nginx, systemd, TLS) and CI/CD with GitHub Actions or equivalent
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Alibaba ROS) and working knowledge of Azure
• Security fundamentals: least privilege, secrets management, network segmentation
• Clear written and spoken English; comfortable presenting to management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldNice to have
• Experience with Saudi data-residency requirements (NCA, PDPL) or regulated sectors such ashealthcare
• Kubernetes (Alibaba ACK), NestJS/Express, monorepo tooling, Jest/Playwright
• Microsoft 365 / Graph API integrations and SSO with Entra ID
• Arabic language
