This is an excellent opportunity for experienced specialists seeking career growth, a competitive salary, and a rewarding professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases, and other respiratory conditionsEvaluate and treat patients with chronic cough, breathlessness, pulmonary infections, and respiratory disordersPerform and interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs), spirometry, and other respiratory assessmentsDiagnose and manage sleep-related breathing disorders, including obstructive sleep apneaPerform bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures, where appropriately trained and credentialedInterpret diagnostic investigations, including chest X-rays, CT scans, arterial blood gases, and pulmonary imagingDevelop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic respiratory diseasesManage patients requiring oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation, and respiratory support within authorized clinical privilegesCollaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, thoracic surgeons, radiologists, and respiratory therapistsEducate patients regarding smoking cessation, inhaler techniques, pulmonary rehabilitation, and respiratory disease preventionEnsure compliance with DHA regulations, respiratory care protocols, infection control, and patient safety standardsRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine, followed by appropriate specialization or subspecialty training in Pulmonology / Respiratory MedicineBoard certification or equivalent recognized specialist-level qualificationAmerican Board, UK, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirableMinimum 3-5 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferred, subject to applicable licensing requirementsStrong expertise in pulmonary diagnostics, respiratory disease management, PFT interpretation, and respiratory supportExperience in bronchoscopy, sleep medicine, or interventional pulmonology is an added advantageEligible for DHA Specialist Pulmonology classification/license in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirementsBenefitsCompetitive salary package and attractive employment benefitsOpportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility in DubaiModern pulmonary diagnostic facilities and advanced respiratory care technologiesMedical insurance and annual leave, subject to applicable employment termsExcellent career growth and professional development opportunitiesLicensing assistance available for eligible candidates
