Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requirements into functional solution designs, applying Salesforce and industry best practicesProvide expert guidance on Sales operations/CRM features, capabilities, and how business processes connect across systemsDesign solutions that align with business needs and translate them into functional requirements for the development teamAnalyse current business workflows and systems to identify areas for improvement and automationLead requirements-gathering workshops and produce business process maps, user stories, and functional specifications for the development team to build againstPartner with developers to validate that delivered solutions meet the functional intent and business requirementTroubleshoot complex issues from a functional/business-process perspective, working with the development team on root cause and resolutionStay current on managed application features, Salesforce platform releases, and industry trends relevant to sales operationsLead change management activities, including UAT planning, training, and adoption support, through to go-liveConduct periodic process and application health checks and provide recommendations for optimizationProvide post-implementation functional support, triaging and resolving process-related issuesCreate detailed solution design documentation, including process flows, data models, and system/data touchpoints at the functional levelProduct Owner Responsibilities (TaskRay)Own and prioritize the TaskRay product backlog, balancing business value, urgency, and dependenciesTranslate functional requirements for TaskRay (templates, resource planner, automations, project workflows) into well-formed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development teamAct as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team on TaskRay scope, priority, and trade-off decisionsParticipate in and help facilitate Agile ceremonies for the TaskRay workstream, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectivesDefine sprint goals and maintain a release roadmap for TaskRay in partnership with global IT and delivery teamsReview and accept completed TaskRay work against acceptance criteria, coordinating UAT with business stakeholders before releaseCommunicate TaskRay roadmap, priorities, and delivery status to business stakeholders and leadershipLead quarterly QBR departmental reviews for TaskRay, reporting on adoption, performance, and outcomesDefine and maintain KPIs for TaskRay usage and delivery performanceConduct quarterly business reviews with TaskRay user teams, including ODE, CAE, GSE, and CSG (Spirent teams TBD)Maintain backlog cleanliness, ensuring items are current, well-defined, and free of duplicates or stale requestsLead quarterly review of enhancement and idea requests, prioritizing and aligning them to user stories/sprint assignments or backlog priority (High/Medium/Low)Required SkillsRequirements elicitation, gathering, and business process mapping across current-state and future-state workflowsFit-gap analysis: assessing business requirements against standard Salesforce capabilities and recommending configuration or process alternativesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into stakeholders at all levelsExperience with cross-cloud Salesforce (SFDC) implementations spanning multiple business functionsExperience supporting solution delivery from testing through go-live, ensuring functional requirements are metExperience acting as Product Owner or similar backlog-owning role within an Agile delivery team, including writing user stories and acceptance criteriaAbility to make prioritization trade-offs and communicate them clearly to both business stakeholders and delivery teamsExperience defining and tracking KPIs, and leading quarterly business reviews with cross-functional stakeholdersPreferred SkillsExperience as a TaskRay Functional Consultant: gathering onboarding/post-sale process requirements, configuring TaskRay templates, resource planner, and automations, and mapping customer-facing project workflows through configurationWorking knowledge of the TaskRay data model (Projects, Templates, Tasks, Resources) sufficient to advise on functional design and configuration optionsExperience with other Salesforce AppExchange productsKnowledge of change management principlesFamiliarity with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and tools (TaskRay preferred, Smartsheet, Easy Project)Understanding of service and application lifecycle managementDetermines and develops approaches to complex business process/system assignmentsLeads business-process-related projects, applying in-depth experience to influence outcomesSolves complex designQualificationsQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experienceTypically 6–7 years of relevant experience in Salesforce business analysis, functional consulting, or CRM process designStrong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead process initiatives with minimal oversightDesired
