SR. CIVIL ENGINEER (HIGH RISE BUILDING) - EARTHWORKS, EXCAVATION & PILING

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER – EARTHWORKS, EXCAVATION & PILINGHigh-Rise Building Construction Project | Dubai, UAEWe are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Civil Engineer capable of independently managing and executing Earthworks, Deep Excavation, Piling, Shoring and Dewatering Works for high-rise building construction projects in Dubai.Key Responsibilities1. Earthworks & ExcavationIndependently plan, manage and execute bulk excavation and deep excavation works.Supervise soil removal, hauling, disposal, backfilling, grading and compaction activities.Plan excavation sequences, heavy equipment deployment, manpower allocation and site logistics.Monitor daily excavation quantities, equipment productivity, progress and costs.2. Piling & Foundation WorksManage and coordinate bored piling, pile drilling, reinforcement cage installation and concrete casting.Supervise piling subcontractors, piling rigs, equipment mobilization and site operations.Coordinate pile testing, including PIT, PDA and static load tests, as applicable.Review piling shop drawings, method statements, inspection requests and quality records.Monitor piling progress, productivity, quality compliance and technical issues.Coordinate pile head trimming, pile cut-off levels and handover for pile cap and foundation works.3. Shoring & DewateringCoordinate shoring installation, excavation support systems and temporary works.Supervise dewatering operations and groundwater control during excavation.Ensure excavation stability, safe working conditions and compliance with approved construction methods.4. Site Execution & Subcontractor ManagementTake full responsibility for daily site execution of earthworks and piling activities.Manage specialist subcontractors, construction equipment, manpower and site resources.Prepare construction schedules, work sequences and productivity targets.Coordinate with consultants, geotechnical engineers, surveyors and project management teams.Monitor construction quality, HSE compliance, progress and cost performance.Resolve technical and operational issues to ensure timely completion of works.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 10–15 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.Strong hands-on experience in both Earthworks and Piling Works is essential.Proven experience in deep excavation and foundation works for high-rise residential or commercial buildings.Practical knowledge of bored piling, pile testing, excavation support and dewatering systems.Ability to independently manage earthworks and piling subcontractors.Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations, construction planning and site execution.Experience with reputable UAE main contractors or specialist earthworks and piling contractors is preferred.Strong leadership, technical coordination and problem-solving skills.Important – Mandatory ExperienceCandidates must have proven practical experience in BOTH Earthworks/Deep Excavation AND Piling Works.Applicants with only general building construction, superstructure or finishing experience will not be considered suitable for this position.Employment DetailsPosition: Senior Civil Engineer – Earthworks & Piling
