Lumin Soft is committed to delivering high-quality products, ensuring client satisfaction, meeting deadlines, and providing strong value for cost-conscious partners.Role Description:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django.Build and extend platform plugins and integrations.Develop and consume RESTful APIs.Optimize PostgreSQL databases and write efficient queries.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.Collaborate with cross-functional teams through code reviews and Git workflows.Participate in CI/CD, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of professional Python development experience2+ years of hands-on Django experience in productionStrong knowledge of Python 3.10+, Django, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker, Git, and automated testing (Pytest/Django TestCase)Experience building or extending applications with a plugin/extension architectureExperience integrating third-party APIs (payment gateways, loyalty platforms, etc.)Solid understanding of database design and query optimizationNice to have:Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, Linux/BashBasic JavaScript/Vue.jsArabic RTL localization experienceBackground in e-commerce, ticketing, or payment integrationsFamiliarity with OWASP security best practices
