Team members join a setting where practical engineering solutions and reliable execution are central to operations.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Fabricator role based in Umm Al Quwain. The Structural Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steel components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, drilling, and welding steel sections; operating fabrication equipment and hand tools; and fitting and positioning members for assembly. The role also involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, checking quality and dimensional accuracy, and coordinating with supervisors and other fabrication team members to meet project schedules. The Structural Fabricator is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support continuous improvement in fabrication processes.Qualifications Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings, fabrication sketches, and basic engineering details.Hands-on skills in measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, and fitting structural steel components using appropriate tools and equipment.Experience with welding processes commonly used in structural fabrication (e.g., SMAW, MIG), including joint preparation and basic weld quality checks.Competency in operating fabrication machinery such as cutting machines, grinders, drilling machines, and basic material handling equipment.Strong awareness of workplace safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to company safety policies and procedures.Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to maintaining quality standards and dimensional accuracy.Capability to work in a team-oriented workshop environment, communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers, and support project deadlines.Prior experience in structural steel fabrication or metal construction; experience within UAE projects is an advantage.Basic physical fitness suitable for manual handling of steel materials and standing for extended periods, in line with safe work practices.Relevant vocational training or certification in fabrication, welding, or a related technical field is preferred.
