The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver secure, responsive, and user-friendly mobile experiences.The ideal candidate has strong Android development fundamentals, a passion for solving technical challenges, and the ability to contribute throughout the software development lifecycle in a remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance Android applications for mobile devices.Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into functional, high-quality features.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Kotlin and/or Java.Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.Implement responsive interfaces and ensure compatibility across Android devices and versions.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.Conduct code reviews and follow established coding standards and development practices.Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other quality assurance checks.Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA engineers, and backend developers.Support application releases, updates, and ongoing maintenance.Monitor application performance, stability, and user feedback.Recommend improvements to architecture, development workflows, and mobile user experience.RequirementsAt least 3 years of relevant experience in Android application development preferred.A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and common development tools.Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and version control workflows.Understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and software development principles.Experience with UI development, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.Familiarity with Jetpack components, such as ViewModel, Room, Navigation, or Compose, is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote engineering teams.What We OfferFlexible part-time work in a fully remote setting.Opportunities to contribute to innovative mobile applications and digital products.A professional environment that values technical excellence and continuous learning.Collaboration with product, design, QA, and engineering professionals.Opportunities to strengthen mobile development skills and contribute to scalable software solutions.The chance to help deliver reliable, user-focused Android experiences.
