The ideal candidate should have strong experience in procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, demand planning, and distribution within a high-volume FMCG manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, planning, warehousing, inventory control, transportation, and distribution.Ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods across the supply chain network.Lead demand planning and sales forecasting processes in coordination with Sales, Production, and Finance teams.Optimize inventory levels while minimizing stock-outs, excess inventory, and working capital.Drive logistics and distribution efficiency to ensure timely product delivery across Nigeria.Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, transporters, and third-party logistics providers.Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turnover, fill rates, procurement savings, and logistics costs.Ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and company policies.Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost reduction.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.Key RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Professional certifications such as APICS, CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.8-15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management within a reputed FMCG or Manufacturing company.Proven experience managing procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations.Strong understanding of S&OP, demand planning, procurement strategy, and warehouse management.Experience handling large-scale FMCG distribution networks across multiple regions.Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.Achyutam International is a leading Recruitment Agency for Jobs in Africa, Middle East and Asia, both for Expatriates and for Local professionals.
