Technical Advisor

Key Responsibilities

Prepare coating proposals in line with customer specifications and project requirements, using Caparol’s standard Coating Proposal Form.Prepare technical submittals based on project specifications or recommended Caparol systems.Prepare compliance comparison sheets and propose equivalent Caparol products when competitor products are specified.Calculate cost per m² for coating systems when requested by the sales team or customers.Handle tender proposals and ensure accurate registration of tenders and projects in the CRM.Provide technical clarifications and support to applicators, contractors, clients, and consultants.Work closely with the sales team and internal departments to support projects and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.Provide technical guidance and recommendations to management on technical matters.Prepare weekly and monthly activity and status reports for management, and follow up on corrective actions.Support the Technical Service Manager in all technical and consulting activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar technical role within the paint industry (paint manufacturer or contractor).Strong expertise in technical submittals, specifications, and coating proposals.Solid technical knowledge of paints and floor coating systems.Operational knowledge of site-related works and coating application.A degree in Chemistry or a related field is an advantage.Good proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of CRM or other tools is a plus.Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with clients and consultants.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Fluency in English (Arabic or Hindi is an advantage).Why Join Caparol?At Caparol, you will be part of a leading international paints and coatings company with a strong technical heritage.
