AKIJBASHIR GROUP is looking for Trainee Engineer / Assistant Engineer - Low-E Glass LineJob Description / ResponsibilityAkijBashir Glass Industries Ltd. is commissioning a new Low-E (Low-Emissivity) coated glass line, with commercial operation planned from December 2026. We are looking for energetic Glass & Ceramic Engineering graduates who will join the line during commissioning, learn the process hands-on alongside the commissioning team, and then take part in running and operating the line.Job ResponsibilitiesTake active part in the installation, commissioning and trial runs of the Low-E glass coating line together with the commissioning/supplier engineers.Learn and understand the complete process, equipment, process parameters and control systems of the line during commissioning.Operate the line after commissioning and monitor process parameters to ensure stable, safe and efficient production.Carry out in-process quality checks of coated glass and report deviations, defects and abnormalities to the supervisor.Assist in preparing and updating SOPs, work instructions, checklists and production records.Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and routine upkeep of the line.Follow all safety, health and environmental rules on the shop floor.Work in rotating shifts as required by production.Perform any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.Educational RequirementsB.Sc. in Glass & Ceramic Engineering from a reputed public university.Experience Requirements1 to 5 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Glass & Ceramics ManufacturingFreshers are also encouraged to apply.Additional RequirementsExperience in the glass industry (float, processing or coating) will be an added advantage.Good understanding of glass manufacturing / coating processes.Basic computer skills (MS Office); familiarity with PLC/HMI-based machine operation is an advantage.Willingness to work in the factory and in rotating shifts.Eagerness to learn, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.Good communication skills in Bangla and English.Job LocationHabiganj (Madhabpur)
