Transport and Tracking Controller

We are dynamic logistics tech company that has experienced fast growth and recognized as a lead player amongst Freight Forwarders in Africa.The role will provide operations support to the transport team to ensure fast and accurate data gathering and analysis insights to drive performance in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements using info from different sources, using all options available .Plan and Document requirements of shareholders/ management, with accurate deadlines/ targets.Extract data and analyze, with understanding good enough to explain to all users.Perform data testing of various scenarios.Present reports/ findings, and quickly adapt to change in requirements.Provide training to users when needed.Education & Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experiencePreferable degree/ diploma in BCom/ IT/ Logistics/ Data ScienceStrong systems knowledge. Mainly Excel/ MS Office (definite), SQL, PowerBI.Ability to time manage and set realistic targets for ever changing deadlines.Logistics background. With understanding of Rail, Road transport.Ability to work well under pressure, and available at most times to discuss queries/ changes/ reports.Finance understanding and experience in East and Central African markets highly advantageousExcellent communication skills (Swahili mandatory)
