Transportation Supervisor

Key Responsibilities Transportation OperationsPlan, coordinate, and supervise daily staff transportation between accommodation, project sites, and other designated locationsPrepare and manage daily vehicle schedules, routes, and driver allocationsEnsure timely employee pick-up and drop-off across multiple locationsCoordinate transportation requirements for new employee arrivals, transfers, and mobilizationRespond promptly to emergency and last-minute transportation requests Fleet & Vehicle ManagementMonitor vehicle availability, utilization, maintenance, and operational efficiencyEnsure all vehicles are properly maintained, registered, insured, and compliant with UAE regulationsCoordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and vehicle inspectionsMonitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle operating costsMaintain accurate records of vehicle documentation and maintenance schedules Driver SupervisionSupervise drivers and ensure adherence to assigned routes, schedules, and company policiesMonitor driver attendance, performance, discipline, and compliance with safety regulationsEnsure drivers hold valid UAE driving licences appropriate to their assigned vehiclesConduct regular driver briefings on road safety and operational requirementsArrange replacement drivers during absences or emergencies Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate closely with Operations, HR, Recruitment, Mobilization, and Accommodation teamsEnsure transportation arrangements are aligned with project manpower requirements and shift timingsHandle transportation-related complaints and resolve operational issues promptlyCoordinate with external transport providers when additional vehicles are required Reporting & CompliancePrepare daily and monthly transportation reports covering vehicle utilization, driver attendance, fuel consumption, and operational issuesMaintain transport movement logs, trip sheets, and fleet recordsEnsure compliance with UAE traffic laws, RTA requirements where applicable, and company HSE standardsReport accidents, breakdowns, and safety incidents promptlyBenefitsQualifications & ExperienceDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in transportation or fleet supervision within the UAEPrevious experience in Facilities Management, manpower transportation, or large-scale staff transportation is preferredGood knowledge of UAE roads, routes, traffic regulations, and transport operationsExperience supervising drivers and coordinating multiple vehicles across project locationsProficiency in MS Excel and transport scheduling/reporting systemsValid UAE driving licence preferredRequired SkillsStrong planning, scheduling, and coordination skillsEffective leadership and driver managementAbility to manage transportation for large numbers of employees across multiple sitesGood communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and handle operational emergenciesStrong attention to safety, cost control, and operational efficiencyFlexibility to work extended hours when operationally requiredKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)On-time employee pick-up and drop-off performanceFleet availability and vehicle utilizationReduction in transportation delays and complaintsFuel efficiency and transport cost optimizationDriver compliance and safety performanceTimely vehicle maintenance and documentation renewals
