UI Architect with Design Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Engineer with strong hands-on experience in UI development, front-end application architecture, reusable component development, and enterprise design systems. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable UI solutions and creating components that can be reused across web and mobile applications.The role requires a strong UI engineering background rather than a full-stack profile, along with practical knowledge of leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and develop scalable, high-performance front-end applications with a strong focus on maintainability and user experience.Design and build reusable UI components that can be leveraged across both web and mobile platforms.Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise design systems and component libraries.Work with the Nightingale Design System or similar enterprise-level design systems to ensure consistency across applications.Define front-end architecture, coding standards, component patterns, and UI development best practices.Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product teams, architects, and engineering teams to translate designs into production-ready applications.Ensure UI components are responsive, accessible, scalable, and optimized for performance.Drive consistency and reusability across applications by establishing standardized UI patterns and frameworks.Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance on front-end development and architecture.Leverage AI-powered development tools for coding assistance, code reviews, documentation, testing, debugging, and developer productivity.Evaluate new front-end technologies, frameworks, and development practices that can improve application quality and engineering efficiency.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience in UI/Front-End Development.Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development practices.Strong experience with modern UI frameworks such as React/React Native or equivalent technologies.Proven experience architecting complex front-end applications.Strong understanding of reusable component architecture, component libraries, and modular UI development.Experience developing components that can be reused across mobile and web applications.Hands-on experience working with Design Systems, preferably Nightingale Design System or similar enterprise design systems.Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and backend services.Knowledge of modern front-end build, testing, CI/CD, and source-control practices.Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or similar tools, as part of the software development lifecycle.PreferredStrong UI/front-end engineering background is essential.Candidates should have recent, hands-on experience building sophisticated user interfaces and front-end architectures.Preference for candidates with deep specialization in UI engineering, design systems, and reusable component development rather than generalist full-stack profiles.Experience defining or driving front-end architecture for large-scale enterprise applications is highly desirable.Ability to balance technical architecture, UI quality, performance, and developer experience.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, architects, and engineering teams.
