Vessel Operator – LPG

Adenac Shipmanagement Ltd. is an Athens-based maritime company focused on vessel ownership, asset management and the operation of high-specification vessels, with a growing presence in the LPG shipping sector.Built on extensive experience in gas markets, vessel operations and maritime asset management, Adenac combines technical competence, commercial discipline and a long-term ownership philosophy.As our LPG fleet continues to grow, we are strengthening our in-house operational capabilities and building a dedicated team focused on safe, reliable and efficient vessel operations.Role Description:We are looking for an experienced Vessel Operator – LPG to join our team in Kozyatağı, Istanbul.This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for the day-to-day operational follow-up of LPG vessels from the Owners’ side.The Vessel Operator will work closely with Masters, Charterers, Agents, Terminals and internal Technical and Marine teams to ensure smooth vessel operations and effective execution of the vessels’ existing Charter Party requirements.Key responsibilities will include:Day-to-day operational follow-up of assigned LPG vessels;Coordination and communication between vessels, Charterers, Agents and Terminals;Monitoring vessel schedules, port calls, cargo operations and voyage progress;Following Charter Party operational requirements and Owners’ obligations;Monitoring vessel performance, delays, off-hire events and other operational matters;Reviewing operational correspondence and ensuring timely follow-up of outstanding matters;Supporting Masters in resolving operational issues and coordinating with relevant stakeholders;Monitoring operational costs and identifying potential delays or inefficiencies;Maintaining accurate operational records and reporting to management;Working closely with the Technical, Marine and Commercial teams on matters affecting vessel operations.QualificationsPrevious shore-based experience in LPG / gas carrier operations is strongly preferred;Previous experience as a Vessel Operator, Marine Operator or in a similar ship operations role;Good understanding of LPG carrier operations and Charter Party requirements;Familiarity with cargo operations, terminals, port calls and vessel performance monitoring;Previous seagoing experience on LPG / gas carriers will be considered a strong advantage;Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills;Ability to independently manage multiple vessels and operational matters under time pressure;Good command of written and spoken English;Proficiency in MS Office and relevant maritime operational systems;Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Transportation, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Logistics or a related field is preferred.📍 Location: Kozyatağı, Istanbul, Türkiye🕒 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site
