The café is growing and offers opportunities to learn various aspects of food and beverage service.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Waitress / Service Staff role based in Kathmandu. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages, and ensuring tables and service areas are clean and organized. The service staff will handle billing, process payments, and respond to customer requests and feedback in a courteous manner. Day-to-day tasks may also involve supporting basic food preparation, coordinating with kitchen staff, and restocking supplies. The role requires following hygiene and safety standards and contributing to a positive team environment.Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact politely and clearly with guests and coworkers.Experience or interest in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including serving dishes and handling drinks.Basic Cooking skills or willingness to assist with simple food preparation as needed.Ability to stand for extended periods, work shifts, and handle a fast-paced café environment.Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, respectful attitude toward customers and team members.Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and cash; prior café or restaurant experience is an advantage.Knowledge of local language(s); basic English communication skills are beneficial.
