Nuclear I&C Engineer II / III📍 Perry, OH | Oak Harbor, OH | Shippingport, PA📅 12-Month Contract | Onsite💰 Up to $178/day Per Diem + Potential Mobilization AssistanceOscar Energy & Construction is partnering with Zachry Nuclear Engineering to hire Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineers supporting major plant modification projects at operating nuclear power facilities.We're seeking engineers with hands-on I&C design experience, not just maintenance, commissioning, or technician backgrounds.What You'll Be DoingDevelop I&C calculations, specifications, drawings, and design packagesSupport plant modifications and engineering change packagesWork with instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, DCSs, alarms, and interlocksPerform instrument selection, setpoint calculations, scaling, and uncertainty analysisConduct field walkdowns and verify plant conditionsSupport testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and system upgradesWhat We're Looking For✅ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or similar✅ 2+ years of I&C design engineering experience✅ Experience with one or more of the following:PLCsDCS systemsInstrumentationControl logicAlarms & interlocksAutomation systemsEngineering change packagesTechnical calculations and design documentation✅ Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear site access✅ U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available)Preferred ExperienceCommercial nuclear power experienceNuclear plant modifications and upgradesPrior nuclear badging/accessPower generation, utility, petrochemical, chemical, or other regulated industrial environmentsEIT or PE LicenseLocations📍 Perry Nuclear Power Plant - Perry, OH📍 Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station - Oak Harbor, OH📍 Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station - Shippingport, PAPerks✔ Up to $178/day Per Diem✔ Potential Mobilization/Demobilization Assistance✔ Multiple Openings Available✔ Long-Term Nuclear Projects✔ Opportunity to Support Critical Plant UpgradesQuick Self-AssessmentYou may be a fit if you've:✅ Designed or modified PLC, DCS, instrumentation, or control systems✅ Created engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, or design packages✅ Supported engineering change packages or plant modifications✅ Worked in nuclear, power generation, petrochemical, chemical, or industrial facilities📩 Interested?
