Job DescriptionUltratec 3D Printing is looking for a skilled, passionate, and detail-oriented 3D Printing Operator / Technician to join our production team.We are looking for someone who is technically capable, a quick learner, and genuinely passionate about 3D printing technology, with hands-on experience in preparing 3D files, operating printers, and managing daily production activities.Key Responsibilities3D File Preparation: Review, repair, optimize, and split 3D models into printable parts based on printer capabilities and production requirements.Slicing & Printing: Prepare files using slicing software, optimize print orientation, supports, and settings to achieve the best quality and efficiency.Printer Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor multiple 3D printers, ensuring consistent quality and timely production.Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine printer maintenance, calibration, and basic technical troubleshooting.Production Management: Organize printing schedules, maintain production sheets, track printing progress, and manage digital files.Quality Control: Inspect printed components, identify printing defects, and minimize material waste and production failures.Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to printing processes, machine efficiency, and production workflows.Requirements & QualificationsProven hands-on experience operating FDM/SLA/SLSGood knowledge of 3D slicing software such as Bambu Studio, and similar.Experience with 3D model repair, mesh editing, splitting, and preparation for 3D printing.Familiarity with 3D software such as Blender, Meshmixer, Fusion 360, z brush or similar is an advantage.Good understanding of printing materials, machine settings, and troubleshooting.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple printing jobs simultaneously.Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.Personal Qualities We ValuePassionate about 3D printing and emerging technologies.Smart, resourceful, and a strong problem-solver.Fast learner with a willingness to develop new technical skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible.Proactive, hardworking, and a team player.Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
