In this part-time, fully remote role, you will assist students in identifying suitable programs, understanding academic requirements, setting realistic goals, and accessing relevant educational resources.The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, an organized approach to student support, and the ability to explain academic information clearly while building positive relationships with learners and other education professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personalized academic guidance based on students' interests, goals, qualifications, and educational needs.Help students explore suitable courses, programs, learning pathways, and progression opportunities.Explain admission criteria, program structures, academic policies, and relevant application procedures.Support students in setting academic goals and developing practical study plans.Monitor student progress and identify potential challenges that may affect academic performance or engagement.Maintain accurate student records, advising notes, follow-up schedules, and communication histories.Coordinate with admissions teams, instructors, program administrators, and student support services.Respond to student inquiries professionally through email, online meetings, and other digital communication channels.Assist students with course selection, registration processes, and understanding academic deadlines.Identify students who may require additional support and refer them to appropriate resources.Prepare advising summaries and reports to track student engagement, common concerns, and support outcomes.Contribute to improvements in student communication, advising procedures, and overall learner experience.Maintain confidentiality and handle student information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.RequirementsAt least 3 years of relevant experience in academic advising, student services, education administration, admissions, or a related field preferred.Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.Strong understanding of academic planning, student support, and educational program structures.Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.Ability to explain academic requirements and procedures in a clear, supportive, and professional manner.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective follow-up practices.Familiarity with student information systems, learning management systems, or digital advising tools is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple student inquiries and priorities independently.Empathetic, patient, and solutions-oriented approach to student engagement.High standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Comfortable working remotely with students and colleagues across different locations.Professional certifications are not required.What We OfferFlexible part-time work in a fully remote environment.The opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to student development and educational success.A supportive, collaborative culture focused on learner experience and continuous improvement.Opportunities to strengthen expertise in academic planning, student engagement, and education services.Exposure to digital learning tools and diverse educational pathways.If you are passionate about education, enjoy guiding learners toward their goals, and believe in the value of personalized academic support, we welcome your interest in joining our team.
