Accountant

Job Title: AccountantJob Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our general ledger and financial reporting.

In this role, you will handle full-cycle accounting functions—including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and tax filings—to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles.Key Responsibilities * Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. * Enter journal entries for expenses, card payments, and bank payments. * Draft and verify closing entries. * Review receivables, payable, salaries, and general ledger accounts for accuracy. * Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles. * Perform regular balance sheet and bank reconciliations. * Reconcile payable transactions and statements, and prepare aging reports. * Initiate bank transfers securely and efficiently. * Prepare and submit VAT Declarations and Corporate Tax returns.Requirements & Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proven UAE experience in accounting, general ledger management, and financial reconciliations. * Strong understanding of local tax regulations, including VAT declarations and Corporate Tax compliance. * Excellent proficiency in accounting software, SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel. * High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
