AI Product & Systems Engineer
Confidential Careers · Beirut, Beirut Governorate, Lebanon
Tailor my CV for this job — freeAbout the role Cedar Legacy is a single-family office looking for someone to build and own the systems, data structures, and AI-native workflows the firm runs on. The role sits between engineering, product, and AI implementation. You won't just be writing code to spec or managing a roadmap, you'll be figuring out what the firm actually needs, then building it yourself: data architecture, filing systems, and workflows with AI built in from the start rather than added on later. What you'd own
- The firm's core data and knowledge architecture: how information is structured, stored, and connected across entities, portfolios, and workflows
- Folder, filing, and documentation systems built to scale with the firm
- Identifying which recurring tasks and processes can be automated or AI-assisted, then building those solutions
- Keeping the firm current on software and AI tooling, evaluating what's worth adopting versus noise
- Working directly with the principals to turn operational needs into working systems What we're looking for
- 2 to 4 years of experience spanning some mix of software engineering, product management, and AI consulting or implementation
- Genuinely AI-native: fluent in building with LLMs, agents, and automation, not just using AI tools day to day
- Comfortable owning both the thinking (what should this system look like) and the building (making it real)
- Strong data and systems instincts: database design, integrations, workflow architecture
- Experience translating messy, informal processes into structured, maintainable systems
- Independent and trustworthy with sensitive financial and personal information Why this role
- This is a small team, so you'd report directly to the principals and have real say over what tools and architecture the firm uses
- Competitive compensation, based on experience (on-site in Beirut, Lebanon)
- Direct daily collaboration with the office's senior team, no layers of middle management
- High trust and autonomy once ramped up
