Chartering Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartering Executive to join our shipping operations team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing vessel charters, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient shipping operations that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the chartering of vessels in line with company objectives and client requirements. - Negotiate charter party agreements and freight contracts to secure profitable and efficient shipping arrangements. - Coordinate with shipowners, brokers, and clients to optimize shipping schedules and vessel utilization. - Monitor market trends and freight rates to advise on chartering opportunities and strategies. - Liaise with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth vessel operations, including scheduling and documentation. - Prepare regular reports on chartering activities, market analysis, and key performance indicators. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. - Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Logistics, or related field. - Proven experience as a Chartering Executive or in a similar role within the shipping industry. - Strong knowledge of chartering contracts, shipping operations, and market dynamics. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Analytical mindset with proficiency in market analysis and forecasting. - Fluency in Russian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. - Willingness to travel as required and work flexible hours to meet business needs.
