Role PurposeTo support and execute global sourcing and procurement activities for raw materials, APIs, excipients, packaging materials. The role is responsible for supplier development, cost optimization, procurement planning.
Location: Mumbai/GurugramKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure timely procurement of materials to meet production and project requirements.Coordinate with planning and inventory teams to maintain optimum stock levels.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supply agreementsObtain quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and prepare comparative analyses.Support sourcing strategies for assigned categories.Develop alternate and backup sources for critical materials.Follow up with suppliers on order execution and resolve supply-related issues.Support supplier qualification and onboarding activities.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery.Monitor market and commodity trends affecting material prices.Assist in budget control and procurement efficiency initiativesCross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with:Supply ChainProductionQA/QCRegulatory AffairsR&DFinanceEducationBachelor's degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain,MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations is desirableExperience3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functionsExposure to international sourcing & ProcurementKey SkillsExcellent Communication skills as need to work in International environmentMS Excel and Data Analysis
