Assistant Manager, Project Management, Nomination and Localization, Group Technical Procurement

Job ResponsibilitiesManage supplier sourcing and selection, ensuring suppliers are appointed according to project timelines.Coordinate the sourcing of locally produced components, including planning, submission of required government forms, and progress reporting.Monitor component costs and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure projects stay within approved budgets.Coordinate cost reviews and approvals for project-specific parts, ensuring proper documentation and cost control.Manage purchase orders through to completion and follow up with suppliers to ensure parts are available when required.Coordinate with suppliers when production ends and manage excess stock to minimize waste and financial losses.Maintain accurate sourcing records and project updates, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.3–8 years of experience in the automotive industry.Experience in automotive purchasing or project management is preferred.Good analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Good written and spoken English to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.Strong coordination and organizational skills to manage priorities and meet project timelines.Proactive, dependable, and able to work collaboratively to achieve team goals.
