Assistant Research Scientist

Role Description The Assistant Research Scientist role at Eki.Struct is a part-time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. In this role, the team member supports research and development activities related to telecommunications, power, and infrastructure products, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of technical reports. Typical tasks include literature reviews, assisting in the design and evaluation of structural concepts, contributing to testing protocols, and documenting findings for internal and client-facing use. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and designers, organizing project data, and helping prepare presentations or technical documentation that inform product improvements and client solutions.QualificationsStrong analytical and research capabilities, including data collection, literature review, and technical report writing.Foundational knowledge of engineering or applied sciences, preferably related to telecommunications, structural engineering, or infrastructure design.Proficiency with common office and data tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with engineering or statistical software is an advantage.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and tasks across office and remote settings.Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field; current enrollment in a related program will also be considered.Interest in infrastructure development in emerging markets and willingness to learn about telecommunications and steel structure solutions.
